Hello friends, this is difficult for me to write, but necessary. I just wanted to let you know that I am at least temporarily stopping my posts. I was laid off at my job on friday, and my schoolwork is intense, so I need time to regroup and figure out what to do. I will most likely come back to the blogosphere so to speak, perhaps with an entirely new blog (on blogspot:). This doesn't mean, however, that I wont be checking my favorite blogs regularly and carry out the inspiration that I receive from them into the real world. I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to anyone who read this blog, I hope that we can "meet again" as soon as I recuperate from the minor life blows. Thanks again, best wishes, Anya

Today's outfit was originally more complicated than this, but it was too hot for the other version. I had my oversized blazer on this morning, so you could barely see the skirt underneath, but it only lasted until about 9:00 am and then I took it off. I love this time of fall bacause I can wear boots as well as flats and flats/sandals. Soon it will get cold and I will switch to very warm clothing for like the next 10 months:( Anyway, I hope that you had a good Monday, and have a great rest of the week)))

How convenient, I just got my new OVER THE KNEE boots and today really felt like fall! It rained in the morning, and then it cleared up, overall it was a very nice day:) I kept the outfit simple in the black and white pallette. I am getting used to these boots which I LOVE LOVE LOVE, they are a great addition to any outfit. Alright, I gotta go meet up with a couple friends, but I hope you have a great weekend, enjoy the weather(if it is nice of course.)

Fall is coming! I wore shorts  today thinking that it was going to be in the mid 70s today...it was more like high 50s...I'm glad I wore the cardigan and a scarf, they kept me pretty cozy. The vast amount of coffee that I've been drinking recently is taking a toll (I got to sleep around 1, wake up at 6), I am sooo tired, the weekend can't come fast enough! Besides that though, I'm so glad I've been pushing myself to post every day this week, which has only been 3 so far haha, but I guess it's a start:) Have a wonderful day:)

First of all wanted to thank the state of Vermont for the perfect weather today! It was in the uppers 60's and then got slightly cooler in the evening. Secondly, I went shopping this past weekend and picked up these denim leggings on sale from urban outfittes along with the studded necklace that I am also wearing. I looked at the before the sale price of the necklace which I got for $10, and it was an astounishing $70! I LOVE sales. I wore this outfit to school and got a lot of dirty-ish looks. Its hard to like fashion and not stand out, and here in VT most people think that dressing up is a sign of arrogance or that it is just plain stupid. Anyway, this blog helped me overcome my self consciousness, and people can think whatever they want to) By the way awkward foot position in the second picture!

Another week of silence, school is taking up so much time even though I love it! Finally figured out how to make my photos larger, only took me six month to do it, I am extremely tech savvy, obviously:) Not much going on here in VT, surprisingly still warm (during the day). Can't wait for real fall to wear all my warmer clothing, and layering! I took these pics in my basement, the second one is slightly creepy and this is precisely why I like it. Today was pretty busy I had classes and worked. I felt pretty professional in this outfit, although it was a little too hot for the weather. Speaking of weather, looking at the forecast for the past 2 weeks has been: 75 and sunny every day! So strange considering it rained for like the 85% of the summer, not complaining though. The top I am wearing is a bodysuit that is pretty short which makes it uncomfortable because I have to really stretch it so it covers everything, but at least it was only $5:) The vest is my mom's which i borrowed, and I think it goes perfectly with the top. I can't believe I haven't posted for an entire week! I am so sorry about that! I've been trying to figure out the lack of time that I have with school on my plate, like right now I am posting this at the same time as I'm reading about the pre WWII education system in Japan...I really missed blogging/looking at all the other wonderful blogs out there, so I am determined to make this work! Excuse my "amazing" pictures, but I am trying to adjust to my new really no free time schedule now that school has started. This was the first day of my junior and went pretty smoothly. Well, actually I ended up in the Italian instead of French this morning and thought that the professor was kidding around when she started speaking Italian... I am so glad I didn't laugh out loud. Besides that it was just a regular, slightly nerve racking first day of school...I went kind of dressy/casual with my outfit, and I know that my shirt is blending in with the wall, but it's sleeves are bat wings:) It was actually kind of weird because my boyfriend wore a graphic tee that has bats on it. Meet my new Christian Siriano for Payless boots. Even though I realize that these are probably going to be very popular, but that obviously didn't affect my decision to buy them. I love love love the blue soles. Was Mr. Siriano a little inspired by YSl's collection with the wide top and blue soles?  Today I just wanted to wear a simple outfit to show these babies off:)
